NTS&B Some Classy Visitors

The NTS&B had some classy visitors running on its rails over the weekend (I believe the official term is 'varnish'). A few friends came over and brought a few 'toys'. Here are some pics of some very nice old equipment, that all still runs like new, and look as good as they run. Only problem was, they ran so good they ran back home :)

One small correction. The 2025 locomotive is actually circa 1947 and the only year they made it with an aluminum colored smoke stack. Starting in 1948 onward, the smoke stack was painted black. Some time in the fifties, the 2-6-2 arrangement was changed to a 2-6-4 arrangement. Also around that time the nickel rimmed balwin drivers were replaced with solid iron drivers. Near the end of the run, magnatraction was added and the model number was changed. The 2025 is identical to the 675 with the 2025 being sold for 027 and 675 for normal O gauge.
